My story

[p]In 2019 I am cycling (supported) from Cairo to Cape Town, a distance of 11 000km over 4 months. I will be averaging 80 miles a day, 6 days a week, across desert, mountain and (potholed) road, through 10 countries, camping almost every night. Lots of training and organisation is going into this expedition, but anything can happen whilst I am there.[/p][p]Whilst I am lucky enough to be able to go on this challenge, there are many people in Africa and beyond who are nowhere near as lucky. Please sponsor me to help raise money for Medecins sans frontieres, a non-discriminatory charity offering medical care to those in need. Their work in the ebola crisis is well known, but they work in remote, dangerous environments in Africa and around the world.
