London Marathon 2020

[p]Until I met my partner’s sister I had little/ no contact with anybody with learning difficulties. Meeting Emily, I was naive to her world and the support required to give someone with learning difficulties the opportunity to live the life they choose. [/p][p]Emily has truly opened my eyes to the fact that people with varying degrees of learning difficulties are still people with likes and dislikes, and with a huge amounts of individuality. [/p][p]To protect Emily's world, it takes selfless work from those who support her. In addition to her adoring family who want nothing but the best for her, it is also the work and time invested from those at Mencap that has made a magical difference in her life. [/p][p]Running the London Marathon is something I have wanted to do for many years now.
