My story

[p]Since i started this challenge the world has changed dramatically with Corona Virus taking a huge toll on lives and livelihoods in every corner of the globe. So for the next 48 months of my challenge i will be aiming to run/walk 26.2 miles for every country affected - so far 213 have had active cases and i will try to raise £1 for every life lost. As i write the death toll stands at 163.000. This is a massive challenge and i don't know if i will complete it or how much i will raise. All i know is that i will give it my best shot in gratitude for the gift of health and i enjoy and as my tribute to all those who have died and all who have worked tirelessly and heroicly in these difficult times thank you. [/p][p][br][/p][p]In 60 months time I will be 60 and so I am going to do 60 different challenges, starting and finishing with the London Marathon. I didn't think i would get this far in life but have been given a second chance and want to make the most of it and leave a legacy that is about hope, compassion and courage. Thank you for visiting my page - more details at www.writingontherun.co.uk[/p][p]I finished the London Marathon in 5 hours 27 mins and since then my challenges have included producing a booklet that tell the stories of 14 people who have tackled Marathons [/p][p]Running two 10k races in 5 days [/p][p]Running a mile a day for a month.[/p][p]Severn Bridge 10k - I hate heights![/p][p]Royal Parks Half Marathon[/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p]
