My story

[p]Manchester Deaf Centre is teaming up with Manchester based charity 'Helping Uganda Schools' (HUGS) to support their sponsored virtual cycle ride to Uganda, to raise money to build a new school for deaf and disabled children. A team of 40 cyclists are virtually pedalling the 6,480 miles to Kampala in September. Can you help? HUGS have been building schools and sponsoring children for 25 years. They have found the biggest impact can be made by helping marginalised children, especially those with sensory disabilities. In order to flourish they need a caring, high quality school, where they are not bullied, marginalised or beaten. £20,000 will allow HUGS to open the new school in February for 25 kids, £40,00 allows them complete the whole building and 75 kids will begin their first days at school. Please give generously. You are making such a difference.[/p]
