Team story

[p]We're a flock of Chester culture vultures from the National Asbestos Helpline and Birchall Blackburn Law and we've signed up for Maggie’s Merseyside’s Culture Crawl in Liverpool on Friday, September 23.[/p] [p]Our team has pledge to raise at least £1,120 for the cancer charity, which is based in the grounds of Wirral’s Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. The Maggie's Centre is an incredible, wonderful and priceless place for people, and their families and friends, who have been diagnosed with cancer.[/p][p][lt]img src="http://www.nationalasbestos.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Maggies-Culture-Crawl-BB-Law-virigin-page-Grp-2-120816.jpg" alt="Some of our team!" width="400" height="267" /[gt][/p] [p]Maggie’s Culture Crawl, starting at 6.30pm, is a 10km night walk and cultural adventure through the nooks-and-crannies of rarely seen Liverpool locations. [/p] [p]Jan Garvey, from the National Asbestos Helpline, says: “I’ve taken part in a Maggie’s Culture Crawl before in London. It was a wonderful experience and a magical way to raise money for such a great cause. When we found out that Maggie’s Merseyside was organising one closer to home, well, it was hard to resist.[/p] [p]“Maggie’s Merseyside is an empowering place with an extraordinary approach to cancer care that’s outside the more clinical medical environments. If you haven’t been to a Maggie’s Centre then you should find out more and, if you haven’t been on a Maggie’s Cultural Crawl, then now is the time to do it.”[/p][p][lt]img src="http://www.nationalasbestos.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/NAH-maggies-culture-crawl-virgin-page-120816.jpg" alt="Jan & Joan on Maggie's Culture Crawl" width="350" height="425" /[gt][/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
