Ride Across Britain for Cure Leukaemia

[p]I lost my grand parents, my uncle, and most recently my aunt to Leukemia. I miss them dearly.[/p][p]There is nothing I can do, to bring them back; but I hope through this effort, no one else go through the indescribable emotional and physical pain Leukemia inflicts on the person with cancer and his/her family.[/p][p]This September, in their loving memories, and countless others, I will participate in an extraordinary journey. I will pedal for nearly a 1000 miles, and climb the equivalent of two Mount Everest to raise funds and awareness for the fantastic work, Cure Leukaemia is doing to put an end to Leukemia.[/p][p]I will ride the entire length of Great Britain in 9 days from Land’s End to John O’Groats for our loved ones, our best friends and coworkers. I ride for the people just diagnosed and for the people fighting the hard battle. I ride for those celebrating years of remission and for those who are running out of time waiting for a cure.[/p][p]I have pledged to raise £2200 by end of August, so I really need your help. Anything you can spare will go to this fantastic cause, and give me the boost I need to complete this challenge.[/p][p]I have witnessed the cruelty of this disease; what it does to a person, the agony it causes all around; I want an end to it. I wish I had some magical power, or I was an expert doctor or scientist to find a cure for Leukemia, but I am not; all I can do is try to help those who have dedicated their life to this fight to find a cure.[/p][p]Blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia is helping lead the way, internationally, in the fight against the disease.
