My story

[p]My dad sadly passed away in 2017 aged 70, but he had his first heart attack in his 30's due to carrying the high blood cholesterol disease. He had two triple heart bypass operations but always battled with angina. So when I received a place in the London Marathon I knew it would be for this charity in memory of dad.[/p][p]I ran the London marathon 4 years ago and vowed never again after sustaining a labral tear in training. I have done it once so I am hoping I can do it again. I deferred last year so I could spend a year building the strength in my leg and although I am not fixed I am a little stronger to face the challenge. [/p][p]Since setting up this page in these unprecedented times the London Marathon has been postponed until October 2020 - since lockdown on March 23rd I have ran 6 days a week (totalling an average of 30-40 miles per week). [/p][p]My lovely 16 year old son did a great 27 backflips on the trampoline as part of the 2.6 challenge to add to the cause but it’s hard to keep the fundraising going but I am hoping once lockdown lifts and the world gets back to some kind or normality that I can get some fundraising done![/p][p]Please help me by kindly donating and keeping me motivated.[/p][p]Thanks[/p][p][br][/p]
