My story

[p]Dear All,[/p][p]I am running for THREE really small charities whose work, I believe, deserves our admiration and support. Here is a little about them:[/p][p]ROMILLY FORSHALL FOUNDATION (50%) aids street children. It does this by supporting a Zambian NGO called Friends of Street Children (FSC). Romilly's supporters paid for the construction of two dormitories housing up to 30 children and staff, a borehole and pump, a minibus. Staff help to get vulnerable children out of the appalling life of the street, into the shelter and, where possible, to re-join their families. FSC is Romilly's third project and makes a huge difference to these children's lives. (First 3 photos). [/p][p]INTER CARE (25%) is based in Leicester & works with medical units in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia and Malawi, sending them much-needed medicine (last photo).[/p][p]REPRIEVE (25%) is an organisation of human rights defenders founded in 1999 by British human rights lawyer Clive Stafford Smith and fights for the victims of extreme human rights abuses providing free legal support to some of the world’s most vulnerable people: those facing execution, rendition, torture, extrajudicial imprisonment and extrajudicial killing. [/p][p]Many thanks![/p][p]Miki[/p]
