My story

[p][span=font-family: sans-serif; font-size: medium;]I've been roped into running the London Marathon for content, so please help me raise some money for a good cause in the process.[/span][/p] [lt]p style="font-stretch: normal; font-size: medium; font-family: sans-serif; line-height: normal;"[gt]All proceeds will go to Crisis - a charity which is doing its damnedest to end street homelessness in a city which every day looks more and more like Victorian England. [/p] [lt]p style="font-stretch: normal; font-size: medium; font-family: sans-serif; line-height: normal;"[gt]Even in my local tube station (zone 4), there are hoards of homeless people sleeping rough, with seemingly no assistance to help them find more permanent, safe, warm accommodation. And they've been there for months - through some of the coldest snaps of the year.[/p] [lt]p style="font-stretch: normal; font-size: medium; font-family: sans-serif; line-height: normal;"[gt]In fact, walk through the East End as a whole and you can't help but despair at the number of sleeping bags huddled in doorways. [/p] [lt]p style="font-stretch: normal; font-size: medium; font-family: sans-serif; line-height: normal;"[gt]Anyway, I'm running this marathon to try and give Crisis a bit of dosh towards solving what seems like a pretty desperate situation. Because they make a HUGE, practical difference to people's lives.[/p] [lt]p style="font-stretch: normal; font-size: medium; font-family: sans-serif; line-height: normal;"[gt]I'm not sure my legs will even carry me 26 miles - it is literally the guilt of sponsorship that will keep me going. So please, help a brother out. [/p] [lt]p style="font-stretch: normal; font-size: medium; font-family: sans-serif; line-height: normal;"[gt]Thanks, bye. [/p]
