Rwanda walk

[p]Hi everyone, thank you so much for taking a look. Arthur, our friend and colleague supports Aid for Education and normally holds a race night. Of course, with COVID, that can’t happen this year. So, some teams have got together to “Walk Rwanda”. Our team consists of 4 from Newark Care Home. Peter O’Reilly (Lead Maintenance of Silverline Care), Tony McCann (Peripatetic Maintenance), Andrew McCulloch (full time night staff Care Assistant) and of course me. So three men and a (fat) Manager. The three men tend to walk a lot and will be great at this. I have had to start early to build up stamina and steps but I won’t let my fabulous team down. The 4 of us are ready to start on the 4th and hope to raise a bit of money for this great cause. We have online ways of giving but we also have sponsor sheets if anyone would prefer to hand in a donation. Arthur and the charity have already built schoolhouses and toilet blocks. The children are so appreciative. We have our phones and smart watches on ready to evidence our steps and miles. (Tony says “Gie’s your dosh!). Thank you again everyone.
