Peak District Sponsored Walk

[p]Volunteers from New Directions Rugby Ltd. will be putting on their walking boots and fundraising through a sponsored walk over the Peak District (White Peak area) on 3rd June 2018. The money raised will go toward IT equipment for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism to improve computer based learning, internet access and develop social media skills and safety. The walk is 8-10 miles on varied terrain and will take approximately 5 hours. The walk is in an area called The Roaches and Lud's Church and has a varied in landscape and beautiful views. The group have a free mini bus with only fuel expenses to cover and hope to raise £1,000.[/p][p]New Directions provides a wide variety of support services including home care, supported living, short breaks, respite, day activities, residential services, dementia and transitional support to adults with learning and physical disabilities aged 16 and over, their families and carers.
