Virgin London Marathon 2020

[p]*Update - [i] had to pull out of the 2018 marathon as I had a grade 3 ankle sprain, gutted beyond belief, but Helen and Douglas House are fantastic and have 100% supported me with this decision, and have allowed me to defer until 2020, and all fundraising will roll over for that marathon. So I just wanted to say thank you for all that have sponsored me so far on my marathon journey, but it continues and I [u]will [/u]complete one of my all time goals! And suddenly you’re doing the impossible.’ St Francis of Assisi[/i][/p][p][i] [/i]Okay I’m trying to raise awareness for @helenanddouglashouse I will be running the London Marathon in April 2020 for this amazing charity that is local to me.[/p][p]My story; I couldn’t run for a bus this time last year and have trained my fat ass off (and it still is ??) through injuries, illness and the lack of faith in myself, then I had this chance to help Helen and Douglas House who cares for terminally ill children, young adults and their families through exceptional hospice care. What they do for these families is amazing and all I have to do is run a marathon, so I sucked it up and I will do it!! Even if I have to duck and roll over that damn finish line! ????
