Henley to Paris - 24 hours

[p][span=font-size: 10.992px;]What - Bike ride from Henley-on-Thames to Paris for Trinity Primary School and the Chiltern Centre [/span][/p][p][span=font-size: 10.992px;]Why - Our goal is to bring our local community together, to have fun, make new friends, and to excite and inspire our children. The sponsorship raised will help fund improvements to their learning environment at Trinity Primary School.[/span][/p][p][span=font-size: 10.992px;]When - We'll be leaving Trinity Primary School playground on Friday 23rd June - waved off by the kids - at Friday morning break and head south to Newhaven where we'll refuel at one of Newhaven's 'fine' eateries before getting on the Ferry to Dieppe. [/span][/p][p][span=font-size: 10.992px;]After a short sleep we'll head off from the ferry port at Dieppe at about 4am along the Avenue Verte, a disused railway track that's now only used by mad cyclists heading to Paris. [/span][/p][p][span=font-size: 10.992px;]We'll enjoy the sunrise as we ride through Normandy in the early morning before stopping for breakfast and lots of coffee as soon as we find a cafe open. Then it's the final push to Paris. Finishing under the Eiffel Tower, it's just time for a steak frites feast and a glass of fizz![/span][/p][p][span=font-size: 10.992px;]Total ride distance- approx. 190 miles - few wrong turns permitting[/span]....[/p]
