My story

[p]Medicine Ball Challenge [/p][p]The medicine ball represents the weight, and burden service personnel, veterans and people from all walks of life. Could be carrying around with them every day due to mental health problems. Many feel that they can’t talk because of the stigma surrounding mental health problems. Problems such as Stress, Anxiety, PTSD, and Depression. Which have led to the number of Mental health related deaths of Veterans Soldiers and the blue light services rise to an alarming rate.[/p][p]Not all wounds are visible, however this could have been avoided if only they had talked to someone and there was more awareness.[/p][p]The Medicine Ball wants to raise awareness of these issues. It is a challenge which when you take part you must cuff the 3kg Medicine Ball to your wrist for a period of 7 days. Only taking it off sleeping, driving and dressing. Making every simple task feel like a challenge. Challengers are encouraged to raise as much awareness as possible when taking part. [/p][p]The aim of the Medicine Ball Challenge is to encourage talking to break down the stigma surrounding mental ill health. So that those suffering know its ok, not to be ok and seek help before it is too late. [/p][p]The Medicine Ball Challenge cannot stress enough not all wounds are visible this simple ball could raise awareness and funds to help those in need of our help. Many service personnel and veterans carry these injuries around every single day.[/p][p] If you are struggling, please, please speak to someone be it a work colleague, a friend, even a stranger, just speak out and ask for help.[/p][p]The funds raised go to Combat Stress, The Soldiers Charity and Mind. If you want take on the challenge yourself and make a real difference for a worthy cause, contact me.[/p][p]Take on the Challenge Contact-[/p][p]Medicine Ball Challenge-Facebook[/p][p]Warswithin - Instagram[/p][p]Warswithin - Twitter [/p][p]Thank you[/p]
