Our Second Home

[p]We are a trans-national youth movement that empowers migrants and refugees to flourish in the place that they call home. Through transformative activities, we create community and build leaders.[/p][p][br][/p][p][b]‘What can we do to help refugees?’[/b][/p][p]In late 2015, everyone was asking this question. As a group of former youth leaders inspired by the stories of migration and refuge in our own families and communities, we started to formulate our own answer.[/p][p]Alongside the essential work that supplies refugees with their immediate needs of shelter and safety, we knew that with our experience running residential camps we could provide the tools and environments to help refugees flourish in their second home.[/p][p][br][/p][p][b]Our Vision[/b][/p][p]There are thousands of young refugees and migrants arriving in this country every year. We believe in the unbounded potential of these individuals and are driven to help them thrive.[/p][p]Our residential camps are at the start of this journey, allowing us to create a space where we can teach leadership skills and spark ideas. With the right support, our ambition is to ensure that young refugees and migrants can take control of their own lives.[/p]
