[lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]"LIFE IS LIKE RIDING A BICYCLE, TO KEEP YOUR BALANCE YOU MUST KEEP MOVING"[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]LONDON TO PARIS[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt][span=font-weight: bold;][lt]span style="font-weight: bold; text-align: justify;"[gt]FEE MAVANI - [/span]This has been a long emotional journey, much longer than the 280 miles to Paris.  I have often considered giving up but with the support of a bunch of great friends who have literally picked me up, mended my punctures and made me laugh so much that my sides have hurt more than my legs, it has been worthwhile![lt]/span[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]The main reason I embarked on this journey was to raise awareness and money for JDRF.  A close friend's daughter, Ellie, has diabetes and I have seen the ups and downs that she and her parents go through day in and day out and it's not easy.  So, a MASSIVE thank you for your donation. x[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Fi WILKS- Thanks so much for donating to this cause, we are - have - and will be - in considerable amounts of pain!... until we eventually get to Paris! There has been blood, sweat and tears....its been an 'emotional ride' but for a great cause with great friends and thankfully with a lot of laughs! xxxx[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]DAVE - thanks for donating to this great cause. The training has been challenging to fit in around normal life, especially with 2 of us doing it. I am not sure if my ears will cope with 4 days of girl chat along the way but when we cross the finish line in Paris, hopefully with all my bits intact, it will all have been worth it. Thanks again[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]JAMES - Thank you for supporting this cause. The training has been challenging but huge fun especially the pit stops which never seem to come around fast enough! As the day looms I am beginning to realise what i seem to have got myself involved in and the thought is more and more terrifying by the minute! I am sure it will all be worthwhile when we cycle up the Champs Elysee... Thannks again for your support.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]CARRIE - Felt I'd rather had my arm twisted upon committing to this challenge & never imagined enjoying dressing up in all this neon Lycra, but at long last & many miles later, I'm 'starting' to enjoy it!!! It's been up n down, felt like more ups than downs, seen beautiful parts of the south of England, eaten yummy 'energy' bars (& hot cross buns!), found fun in pot holes, had the funniest puncture repair 'hours', had pains in places most people wouldn't discuss & personally have spent time with some lovely people :) [/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt][span=font-weight: bold;]Not forgetting why.  A great cause, I know a family affected by this recently so aware of the huge impact it has on the child & family as a whole, therefore delighted to be raising funds for such a a worthy cause.[/span][/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Dig deep peeps, we will be. Xxxx[/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt][lt]br /[gt][/p]
