My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. [/p][p]I am undertaking the biggest sporting challenge of my life for two fantastic charities, the Bamboozle Theatre Company and the English Federation of Disability Sport.[/p][p]My challenge is to complete the Mallorca half-Ironman, known as a 70.3 because this is the total mileage covered in the day.[/p][p]I will start with a nice long dip in the sea (a 1.2 mile, 1.9k swim), followed by a nip down to the shops on my bike (a 56 mile, 90k course with a 850m gain) and then a gentle stroll in the sunshine (a 13.1 mile, 21.1k half marathon).  All of this must be done in 8 and a half hours, although I am hoping that I will be having a nice cold beer a bit sooner than that.[/p][p]If you would like to know more about these charities, please have a look on PFP's website: http://www.pfp-planahead.co.uk/who-we-are/charity[/p][p]I know that my fundraising target is high, but these charities are worth it and I will be giving it my all![/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
