My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our page for the London Legal Walk 2019.[/p][p]Our team is: [b] Ade Lukes and Amélie Godfrey [/b](with more to follow) [/p][p]If you want to know more about how we improve access to justice please read our Impact report (you'll need to click the 'back' button on your browser to get back to this page and donate).[/p][p][b]Our Vision[/b][/p][p]We seek a world in which individual rights are respected and public bodies act fairly and lawfully.[/p][p][b]Our priorities[/b][/p][p]Promoting and safeguarding the Rule of Law during a period of significant constitutional change.[/p][p]Working to ensure fair and proper systems for the exercise of public powers and duties, whether by state or private actors; and[/p][p]Improving practical access to public law remedies, including by seeking to ensure that justice reform is evidence led and by increasing knowledge of public law.[/p][p][b]Recognition for our work includes:[/b][/p][p]A Guardian Charity of the Year Award, 2012[/p][p]The Halsbury Special Rule of Law Award 2013 and we are[/p][p]Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year (LALY) Outstanding Achievement Award winners, 2015.[/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers who are raising funds for free legal advice and related charities.[/p][p]All funds donated to this page will go to the [url=https://publiclawproject.org.uk/]PLP[/url] without deduction.[/p][p][b]Many thanks for your support[/b][/p][p][i]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities.
