My story
[p]Hi,[/p][p]Thank you for visiting the fund raising page, every single penny raised will make a big difference to many people in so many ways.[/p][p]One of the main reasons the Societi charity appealed is that I had never heard of this disease / syndrome that literally affects the hearts of children and that is part of the problem that Societi is trying to change. [/p][p]Kawasaki Disease affects hundreds of children in the UK each year. Societi is a driving force in raising awareness across the UK about this.[/p][p]My wife has her own heart condition which is not linked to this, however knowing the pain and upset she, family and loved ones endured along that journey with her drives and pushes me to make a difference wherever I can. [/p][p]A road Marathon will be a first for me and a big challenge and undertaking, knowing I will be raising money for the charity with the kind help from yourselves will make this challenge a great one.[/p][p]Thank you , Phil[/p][p][br][/p]
