My story
[p]Perhaps I have gone mad, but I'm again running The VMLM! I feel privileged & honoured to once again run in memory of Ben Hammond for Cardiac Risk in the Young.[/p][p]Ben died suddenly in July 2016 from an undiagnosed heart condition. He was an inspirational young man with his whole life ahead of him. Since Ben's death his family and close friends have formed 'Team Ben Hammond'. We hold a series of events in an attempt to raise both awareness & funds to hold heart screening events annually. [/p][p]Ben was my friend and I miss him every day; please help me to reach my target and help CRY to potentially avoid other familys having to endure the tragic loss of a young person.[/p][p]Thank you[/p][p]Phil x[/p]
