Running the Brighton Marathon for MS Society

[p]Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a slow, crippling illness which gradually and increasingly affects the quality of life of over 100,000 sufferers in the UK alone.[/p][p]Many of you will know that my amazing Mum has been living with MS for many years now. While it can be a hindrance in every facet of life, Mum, like so many other MS sufferers, enjoys life in the best way possible and serves as an inspiration for all of us.[/p][p]For the above reasons, I'm running my first ever 26.2-mile race in support of the MS Society, who are so driven in their work to aid the day-to-day lives of people with MS, as well as in their ultimate aim to find a cure. It won't be easy - a marathon is a blooming long way - but I've decided that as an extra incentive for you to donate:[/p][p] - if I raise over £1000, I'll run dressed up as a costume (how about a Muppet?) of the highest donor's choice.[/p][p] [UPDATE: we've smashed the £1000 mark, thank you everyone!! I'll be running in a Miss Piggy costume!][/p][p] - if I can raise £2000, I'll cycle the 105 km (66 miles) to Brighton the day before.[/p][p][UPDATE: We're over £2000!!
