My story

[p]In the last weekend of May (or one week before my likely funeral) I will be raising money for The Anne Frank Trust. Together with a small team, we will be cycling through the picturesque and undulating countryside of rural England, visiting the landmarks of the Kindertransport, travel overnight to Holland, finishing at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. We will be cycling 155 miles over two days, including an overnight ferry - where I have been assured we can sleep rather than having to provide pedal power![/p][p][/p][p]Please do support this challenge and help change the lives of many people affected by prejudice and discrimination.[/p] [p][/p] [p]More about The Anne Frank Trust:[/p] [p]On her 13th birthday Anne Frank was given a diary in which she recorded her thoughts and feelings before and whilst in hiding. Following Anne's death in Bergen-Belsen in 1945, her father, Otto Frank, chose to publish her diary in order to help challenge the hatred that had killed his daughters.[/p] [p]Founded in 1990, the Anne Frank Trust UK uses Anne's life and inspirational message as an anchor to educate people about damage caused by all forms of prejudice and discrimination. The Trust enters the lives of young people across the country when they are likely to be at their most vulnerable and impressionable and imbues in them the importance of positive attitudes, personal responsibility and respect for others. They do this through educational projects in schools, prisons and communities across the UK.[/p] [p][/p] [p]As you can see the work of the Trust is really important, so all donations are welcome.[/p]
