My story

[p]Thank you for visiting the Praxis fundraising page for the London Legal Walk 2019.[/p][p]These are the members of our team:- Bethan Lant, Lucy Rix, Sally Daghlian, Elsepeth Inglis, Lily Parrott, Valentina Costa, Unkha Banda, Laura Goodlife, Rebekka Slov, Tania Dobreva, Sarah Mishkin, Fiona Thomas, Rachel Marshal, Brother Vaughan, Laura Stahnke, Domenico Ragozzino[/p][p][br][/p][p]For the third year now, this June Praxis' team will take part in the London Legal Walk to raise funds and awareness for our vital work providing free legal advice to migrants at risk. [/p][p][br][/p][p]It would be great if you could support Praxis: all donations are welcome and will ensure that the UK becomes a more just and fairer place for everybody. [/p][p][br][/p][p]To know more about our work we do, you can read this article published in The Guardian, where our service users speak about the impact that Praxis and free legal advice has had on their lives: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/dec/30/homeless-stateless-guardian-observer-charity-appeal-2018-praxis-communiy-projects[/p][p][br][/p][p]While providing free legal advice to migrants at risk, at Praxis we use the evidence from our work on the ground to advocate for change at the local and national level. In 2018 we played an instrumental role in uncovering the Windrush scandal: as a result more than 5,000 members of the Windrush generation have now had their rights recognised by the Home Office.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Please feel free to share this page far and wide – every donation is more than welcome, even just £2 can make the difference![/p][p][br][/p][p]Many thanks for your support![/p]
