[p]Ahoy There![/p] [p][b]Professionals UK[/b] are delighted to be taking to the waters with our trusty bath tub to compete in this year's [b]Great Sussex Bath Race[/b]. This is a unique raft-racing fundraising event in support of two great charities. [/p][p]On [b]Sunday 12th June 2016[/b], the intrepid team from Professionals UK will battle to either make the Grand Final or a take our place in the action-filled Demolition Derby![/p][p]You can read all about it at: [url=http://www.greatsussexbathrace.co.uk/event-info/]Great Sussex Bath Race[/url][/p][p]The charities we will be paddling in support of are: [/p][ul][li][b]Chestnut Tree House[/b]: the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0-25 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire.[/li][/ul][lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for 280 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]Built in 2003, the hospice provides a 'home from home' environment with 10 children's bedrooms plus eight family rooms, a wet and dry play area, computer and music rooms, a multi sensory room and hydrotherapy pool.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]The house is set in beautiful gardens within an area of outstanding natural beauty.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]There are potentially 1,000 families with life-limited children in Sussex.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]Chestnut Tree House offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care and sibling support. They offer helpline support by telephone, email and text, as well as face to face counselling.
