Tough Mudder

[p]Paul, Lucinda, Melissa, Josh, Samer, Callie and Tom are bravely taking on the 2019 Tough Mudder on Sunday 5 May. This epic challenge will test our awesome team across an 8-10 mile loop of mud-soaked mayhem loaded with 25 best-in-class obstacles.[/p][p]Raising money for New Horizon Youth Centre, a local charity that provides unique, holistic support for London's homeless and vulnerable young people. Every year, thousands of young people across London become homeless because of family breakdown, domestic abuse, poverty, gang violence, or war and persecution in their home country.[/p][p]New Horizon Youth Centre is a vital support network for 16-21 year olds who have no one else to turn to. They provide everything from hot food, showers and laundry to finding them accommodation, training and employment. They offer counselling, drug and alcohol support, health, fitness, art, music and communication skills workshops - everything they need to create a positive future.[/p][p][b]How will your donations be used[/b][/p][p]£8 will cover emergency food for a young person sleeping rough on the streets; [/p][p]£20 will cover a young person's laundry costs for a month[/p][p]£25 will pay for an hour of specialist counselling for a young person who is fleeing domestic violence[/p][p]£40 will pay for a member of staff and a volunteer to deliver a school workshop on homelessness prevention [/p][p]£500 will provide hot, nutritious meals to 60 young people every day for a week[/p][p][b]Please donate if you can.
