Team story

[p]2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the formation of the RAF from the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service, to create the first independent air force in the world. The RAF 100 Great Britain to New Zealand expedition aims to visit a large number of significant former RAF locations on a 17,000 mile route. Visit: http://gb-nz.com for more details.[/p][p]We have chosen to support the following three charities: The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA); the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF) and Save the Children. RAFA and RAFBF both support the wider RAF family and provide financial, practical and emotional support to serving and former members of the RAF and their families. Save the Children promotes children's rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries. Save the Children works in a number of the countries that we will be visiting or overflying on our selected route.[/p]

Congratulations Chris, Abby and the rest of the Team. Amazing achievement. Just sorry the CB's intervened on Saturday. Safe journey home and back to normality. It will feel very strange!
