Team story

[p]So the last 4 years has seen myself and a few friends doing a few 100 mile cycle rides for Nelson's Journey. Last year I thought that we needed to do something a little different, which we certainly did - 100 miles on an ofo bike (yellow framed, 3 geared, hard tyres bike) meant to be ridden for around 3 or 4 miles, not 100! haha[/p][p][br][/p][p]This year, we have chosen to do the local Tour De Broads 100 mile on Tandems!!! Yes, I know![/p][p][br][/p][p]So any help you are able to give to this amazing charity, and to see that we go full steam ahead in what can only be described as another stupid idea haha, we thank you from the bottom of my heart![/p][p]Here's a little more about the reason why I am riding for Nelson's Journey :-) xxx[/p][p]Nelson's Journey are, without doubt, one of the most wonderful charities I have ever come across! There is absolutely nothing I can say that will make them even better than they already are.[/p][p]I have been involved with Nelson's Journey now for a few years by using my skills as a photographer to capture memorable moment for both staff and events. I was asked if I would go on a activities day with them to capture what happens when children first go along for the first time... oh my goodness, was it emotional! I saw first hand, just how amazing the support workers are with these incredibly brave children who are going through an endless stream of emotions after losing someone close to them.[/p][p]So when I was asked if I would like to join their Twenty20 incentive (#NJTwenty20) to raise 20k between 20 businesses, I jumped at the chance to be able to do my part in raising money for a support worker for a whole year. NJTwenty20 is now in its second year and I am pleased to be a part of it again trying to raise £1500 this time. With the help of a few friends and businesses too of course.[/p][p]I cannot thank you enough for supporting me and the other 19 businesses in getting the money raised to help support Nelson's Journey.[/p][p]But I will try...[/p][p]Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you Thank you thank you thank you x infinity and beyond.[/p][p]Richard Jarmy[/p]
