Rebecca's NSPCC London Marathon Fundraising

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page.[/p][p]For those of you that know me well - I LOVE TO RUN![/p][p]I should have been running the London Marathon in April 2018 and 2019 in support of the NSPCC, but due to injury, had to defer. I'm excited to report that my recovery plan is working and I shall proudly be completing London Marathon in October 2021 instead.[/p][p]BUT...this year I'm lucky to have been asked to support the NSPCC through virtual completion of the 2020 London Marathon - I've agreed to do this although I'm still in recovery, so it will be more of a power walk and run how far I can (and not concern myself with pace!). This charity is so important to me for personal reasons, that I'd be willing to crawl all 26.2 miles if it meant I would receive donations to support this cause![/p][p]As part of #TeamNSPCC, I will be helping children who have been abused to rebuild their lives. Abuse changes childhood, but together, so can we.[/p][p]By securing a marathon place with#TeamNSPCC, I have pledged to raise at least £2200 (excluding Gift Aid) towards their £1m target.[/p][p]If you have already sponsored me, once again, I thank you. Your monies will still support the NSPCC and go towards my target.[/p][p]If you are thinking about it, through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
