My story

[p]All in memory of the beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter and Sister Faye J Holden. [/p][p]I've decided to run the marathon of all marathons. After running a half marathon in 2016 with friends and family and raising over £14,000 for Epilepsy research and Smile4Wessex, I thought it was only fitting to double the distance and continue to raise awareness of Epilepsy and help fund further research by attacking the London Marathon 2018.[/p][p]My much loved Sister was diagnosed with Epilepsy around the age of 6. She suffered with many different types of seizures including absence seziures almost daily. Unfortuantely Faye lost her life to Epilepsy in April 2016 at the age of 25, to add to the tragedy 4 months earlier she had given birth to her beautiful son Austin, her first child.[/p][p]Since the passing of my sister I have discovered my love of running and have found it to be extremely therapeutic and comforting, so why not combine this passion with the raising of as much money as possible to help others suffering with Epilepsy and develop its research further.[/p][p]No matter how small or large your donation it will mean so much to my family and I. The pain I will suffer during training and on the actual day will be nothing compared to the pain my sister suffered with for almost 20 years and the pain I feel everyday since losing her.[/p][p]Thank you so much[/p][p]Oli[/p][p][br][/p]
