My story

[p] Team Story[/p][p] [/p][p] On Monday, 30 September 2019, 12 cyclists from Rexel UK Ltd will take part in a charity cycling event starting in Paris and, over 5 days, will cover approximately 450 miles to arrive at Rexel UK Ltd Head Office in Birmingham on Friday, 4 October 2019.[/p][p] [/p][p] Taking part in this epic challenge from Rexel UK Ltd will be Peter Elliott – Commercial Director, Chris Gibson – Projects Director, John McCarten – Supply Chain Director, Craig Spandrzyk – Assistant Head of Legal, Raffaele Liguori – Director of Pricing, Will Cairney – Lighting Design Engineer, Harj Dosanjh – Area Manager, NE Midlands and also Pierre Yves Richard and Emmanuel da Motta from our Paris office. Our supplier colleagues are Richard Simmons – Key Account Manager – South - NVC Lighting, Spencer Pope – Transactional Back Office Director – Schneider Electric and Mike Holmes – Product & Vendor Development Manager – Metpro. Finally, our drivers will be David Shackleton – National Account Manager – Rexel UK Ltd and Chris Rourke – National Account Manager – Honeywell Environmental & Energy Solutions.[/p][p] [/p][p] This challenge is taking place to raise money for two extremely worthwhile causes, Macmillan Cancer Care and the EIC.[/p][p] [/p][p] Macmillan Cancer Care provide practical, medial, emotional and financial support to those coping with cancer.[/p][p] [/p][p] The EIC are the only charity to help those in hardship or distress who work, or have worked, in the electrical and electronics industry.[/p][p] [/p][p] We are sure you will agree that these are very worthwhile causes and really hope you will be able to donate to support us and help reach our target, making all the pain of cycling around 100 miles per day worthwhile.[/p][p] [/p]
