My story
[p]I'm attempting to ride 200 miles over 2 days through the Brecons for EFOD (Engineers for Overseas Development) in July. Having never ridden more than 40 miles in a day let alone 100 miles I'm fairly certain this will be the toughest test I've given myself. Just to ensure the route isn't too easy it will taking in some famous Beacon climbs. [/p][p]Arup has a long time partnership with EFOD, a charity created in Wales with the aim to deliver engineering projects that improve the health, hygiene, education and self-sufficiency of poverty afflicted communities in a sustainable manner. We are currently supporting a school being built in Uganda with free design work and engineers who have the expertise to build modern, efficient buildings that will last. [/p]
