My story

[p]I have been one of the lucky ones to win a ballot place in the London Marathon 2020. I thought it was only right to use this opportunity to raise money for a Charity that is close to my heart and am sure in some way has affected you or people close to you. I would like to raise money for Mind, Mind is a mental health charity here to make sure anyone with mental health problems has somewhere to turn to for advice and support. [/p][p]I am a novice runner and only started training in December. On my journey to the London Marathon 2020 I have run and am running in the below events which are a challenge on their own![/p][p]Canterbury 10 mile - 26th January 2020[/p][p]Bedgebury 10 mile - 2nd February 2020[/p][p]Deal Half Marathon(13 mile) - 1st March 2020[/p][p]Lydd 20 mile - 8th March 2020[/p][p]Hastings Half marathon(13 mile) - 29th March 2020[/p][p]London Marathon(26.2 mile) - 4th October 2020.[/p][p]As you can see I have a lot of miles to cover until I get to the London Marathon!![/p][p]I would greatly appreciate any donations no matter how small as this really can help make a BIG difference to people suffering with mental health problems. Without charities like Mind it would be hard to find the advice and support so as I'm sure you would agree this is a worthwhile charity.[/p][p]Whether you can donate or not remind those you love or know that it's Ok not to be Ok.[/p][p]UPDATE:[/p][p]As you all know through this difficult time for everyone with Covid-19 the London Marathon has now been moved to October 4th. I have had a couple of months off training so will be back on the Wagon getting ready for the October Marathon if it happens.[/p][p]Thank you x[/p]
