My story

[p]For the last few months I’ve been going to the Living Well With Mesothelioma support group as a volunteer. This group is for people with mesothelioma, an aggressive type of cancer caused by asbestos. [/p][p]Coming to terms with a diagnosis of mesothelioma, and dealing with its effects on you and those you love, can be overwhelming. However, the group's members do a great job of supporting each other at this difficult time. Currently, the group’s only funding is through the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group. [/p][p]As you may know, I’m fond of a pint (or two, or three…), but I’ve reluctantly agreed to ask friends and family to sponsor me to give up booze for Lent, from 14th February to 29th March 2018.[/p][p]Donations will go to the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group to help fund the Living Well With Mesothelioma support group. Thank you! [/p]
