Running The Bournenouth Marathon

[p]This Sunday 6th October I'll be taking part in my 5th Marathon since April 2017 in sunny Bournemouth. I've trained hard all summer long, racking up over 550 miles since the beginning of June...... not easy on 45 year old legs I can tell you !!![/p][p]Once again I'll be pulling on my Target Ovarian Cancer vest for inspiration over the gruelling 26.2 miles. The charity is close to my heart, having helped me personally come to terms with the loss of my dear Mum in 2012. They have afforded me some wonderful experiences, many new friendships with fellow fundraisers and the pleasure of meeting countless ladies battling this cruel and insidious disease, they continue to be my inspiration.[/p][p]I'll not be resting afterwards though as the following weekend I'll be taking part in Target Ovarian Cancer's flagship event at The Olympic Park in London where I will be running a more sedate 5/10k (distance to be decided early next week) with my youngest daughter Alexa and my sister in law Lindsay and brother in law Dave.[/p][p]If you can spare a few pennies to support our charitable efforts in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer we will all be most grateful.[/p][p]Thank you[/p][p]Rob x[/p][p][br][/p]
