My story

[p]As many of you know, I have been involved in medical first responding for some years, providing vital first aid and clinical assessment to the people of Lincolnshire. It is very important to me that I am able to give just a little to the local community and I have found it to be immensely rewarding.[/p][p]As with everybody, I have seen some of the suffering that occurs in many areas of the world and often think, beyond a small monthly donation 'I wish I could do more'. I have been very fortunate to now be offered that chance.[/p][p]https://www.patchworkingagainstpoverty.org/our-story/[/p][p]Patchwork Against Poverty was set up some years ago by an EMAS Paramedic that wanted to do more. To date it has assisted the people of the poverty stricken area of Kisii gain access to basic medical care that they would otherwise not receive. [/p][p]I am fortunate to be selected as one of the volunteers to travel to Kenya next March to establish the next medical camp and I am asking for your donations! I have already paid for my own travel and living costs so all donations will go straight to the camp. [/p][p]My initial goal is £200 but I am hoping to go far beyond this target... with your help! So please be generous and offer £1, £2, £10...£100? or whatever you can afford. I, my team and the people we are going to help will be eternally grateful. If you cannot spare a monetary donation, then please try to spread the word and publish this Virgin Money Giving page throughout your local circles- either online or person to person.[/p][p]Thank you so much in advance.[/p][p]Rob.[/p]
