My story

[p]I was diagnosed with suspected Stage 3a Prostate Cancer following my mp MRI scan at the end of April 2017. I made many of the lifestyle changes recommended to fight cancer and actually saw reduced symptoms and PSA (13 -[gt] 10 by August). Because the cancer had not metastasised I was offered Robotic Assisted surgery and seized it. The surgery was performed at the end of September. At the end of November Mr Eaton told me I was cured. I’m sure he will remember my reaction. I have now had 3 undetectable PSA tests. I have made a fully recovery.[/p][p]I feel blessed and incredibly lucky. Others are not as lucky, and therefore I must do whatever I can to raise funds and awareness to improve everyone’s chances. The funds raised will go to Robocap, the Charity that raised more than £300,000 for the Da Vinci robot used for my surgery. Your funds will improve the diagnosis and treatment of Prostate Cancer, and kidney and bladder surgery.[/p][p]Faith was in my blood when I was young but has lapsed until recently. I want to join with others exploring faith on the Camino Frances arriving at Santiago de Compostela on 31 October or thereabouts.[/p]
