My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2021 London Legal Walk. We are taking on 10k on Monday 18 October in support of frontline free legal advice services.[/p][p]Our team is: The Rt Hon Sir Julian Flaux (Chancellor of the High Court), Lord Justice Colin Birss, Lady Justice Ingrid Simler, Lord Justice Richard Snowden, Sir Christopher Floyd, Mrs Justice Sara Cockerill, Mr Justice David Waksman, Mr Justice Richard Meade, Sara Payne, Bruce Harris, Tom Christopherson, Stephen Fash [/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust which funds Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London.[/p][p]We will also be supporting Rolls Building Art & Education Trust. 50% of the funds raised on this page will be donated to Rolls Building Art & Education Trust without deduction.[/p][p]Two-thirds of the UK population don’t know how to get legal advice and 14 million people who live in poverty can’t afford to pay for it. The London Legal Walk raises vital funds to ensure access to justice for some of our communities’ most poor and vulnerable people.[/p][p]Your support is needed now more than ever with the long-term challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. Reduced funding in the charity sector means advice agencies are doing all they can to meet rising need despite a drastically restricted income. [/p][p]The event supports over 100 legal advice agencies in London and the South East. We know that these agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly, fighting discrimination and exploitation.[/p][p]Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.[/p][p]Many thanks for your support.[/p][p]Thank you to the following for the very kind offline donations [/p][p]Robyn Charitable trust[/p][p]DE Moriarty[/p][p]TR Marshall[/p][p]Lord & Lady Brown[/p][p]MA Ronan[/p][p]RW Baker[/p][p]Peter Giles[/p][p]Mrs HA Mendl-Schrama[/p][p]CW Moss[/p][p]MJ Baker-Harber[/p][p]Lord Phillips[/p]

Minnie small yippy border terrier

So sorry my owner bottled out of the LLW this year complaining of sore feet (pathetic excuse) so I felt I should top up the fundraising (£25 per paw ). Well done on the walk and very successful fund raising effort.
