My story
[p]My name is Ross Fitzpatrick, I’ve been competing in ultra and marathon events for the past 3 years. I got involved when a friend of mine’s daughter was born with cystic fibrosis. I entered my first ultra marathon to help raise money for a specialist vibrating vest. I’ve been working with children with physical and mental health issues for the past 12 years, in various special needs schools. I understand the difference funds can make to the quality of a person’s life who is living with a debilitating condition. So when a friend of mine asked me to run the London marathon, to help a charity that is supporting his daughter live with Alexander disease, I jumped at the chance to help her and anybody else that could benefit from the money we help raise.[/p]
