Route to the Sky

[p]Climbing was my life, but 3 years ago I fell and my life changed forever. I suffered a Spinal Cord Injury which left me paralysed, dependant on a wheelchair, and I thought all my dreams were over. Dreams like climbing the Old man of Hoy, a 137m tower of rock in the middle of the sea, part of the Orkney Islands. Through charities like the Calvert Trust though, I began to discover the freedom I could have again in the outdoors. It opened my eyes to what was possible and the adventures out there, wheelchair or not! I'd like to raise money for the Calvert Trust to help others make the same discovery.[/p][p]The trust need £500,000 in charitable donations a year to enable people with sensory, learning and physical disabilities to make positive change to their lives through the challenge of adventurous activities.
