Team story

[p]SATcase has launched an exciting new initiative the SATcase R3 Challenge which invites adventurers to share their challenges and demonstrate how they are achieving their goals in a remote and challenging environment that is outside of reliable phone coverage. [/p][p]Professional explorers push the limits of physical, mental and technological capabilities to achieve success and at SATcase we are encouraging you to get involved and help raise funds for our chosen charity the Royal Marines Charity. The choice of adventure is yours. You may be tackling summits, traversing snowy mountains, charging down rapids, exploring remote coastlines or scrambling across ghylls. SATcase’s very own adventurer Baz Gray, former Royal Marine Commando is kickstarting things as he is set to embark on his own R3 Challenge this year; a solo 1,800 mile expedition across Antarctica: Challenge Antarctica split across two phases to be completed in December 2018 and phase two in November 2019. [/p][p]Why the Royal Marines Charity? [/p][p]SATcase is very passionate about supporting this charity and is heavily linked to the Royal Marines with employees Trevor Parker and Baz Gray having both served in the Royal Marines. We want to support and recognise the important work carried out by the Royal Marines and in support of Veterans and those still serving and their families. [/p][p]About the Royal Marines Charity[/p][p]Royal Marines have always been the first to understand, first to adapt and respond and the first to overcome – that’s the Commando Mindset but today Royal Marines and their families are fighting battles they cannot win alone. We are the Royal Marines’ own Charity and are uniquely placed to understand, respond and react, enabling Marines and their families to overcome their challenges including life changing injury, life limiting illness, mental disability, transition to civilian life and even poverty.[/p][p]Vision[/p][p]Royal Marines and their families supported through life.[/p][p]Mission[/p][p]To raise resource and provide the best possible through life charitable support for Royal Marines, veterans and their families.[/p][p]Thank you for your support.
