180km Turbo Ride - 42.1km Lawn Marathon

[p]On Sunday 10 May 2020 I will be completing the BIKE-RUN phase of my Ironman from my lounge and front lawn to raise money for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the NHS for all their hard work during this time.[/p][p]I myself suffer with Cystic Fibrosis, an inherited life threatening Lung Disease which affects your lungs and other organs by the buildup of thick sticky muscus - I have to take over 80 tablets a day to stay well and keep training and pushing my body hard. CF currently has no cure, the average life[b] [/b]expectancy of a person with Cystic Fibrosis approximately 37 years with many living much longer - I am determined to help others live limitless.[/p][p]With COVID-19 meaning sporting events are being cancelled or postponed including my Ironman Austria I wanted to set myself a challenge from the safety of my own home, especially being in the High Risk category.[/p][p]Every year I embark on numerous Ultra Endurance races and challenges and didn't want 2020 to be any different.[/p][p]?I will be doing the bike-run part of my Ironman as a test of mental resilience, test my body, push my limits and just because I can and raising some money, mental but brilliant.?[/p][p]?✅112miles/180 km Turbo Ride?[/p][p]?✅26.2mes/42.1km 842 laps of the Front lawn[/p][p] I would love your support, in anyway you can and even via a 5km,10km,half marathon or marathon from the safety from your lawn or if you have an indoor bike - be sure to tag me on Instagram: @Sophiegraceholmes so we can be doing it virtually together.[/p][p]Thank you - See you Sunday.[/p]
