My story

[lt]p class="p1"[gt]Hello you! Thanks for visiting my page, I'd love it if you would sponsor me for the 2017 London Marathon as I am running for a very special cause.[/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]I never had any great desire to be a father.  I was always too busy, I had too many other interests, I was too selfish to give myself over to somebody else so completely...[/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]In 2015, I met the love of my life in Molly.  We very quickly fell in love and in January of 2016, fell pregnant.  After the initial panic, we very quickly settled into the idea of having a child together, grew to love it, and started making plans.[/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]Tragically those plans only lasted 9 weeks, at which point we were told the babies heart had stopped beating.  [/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]The next two weeks were a blur.  Things got done, and life carried on, but neither of us are really sure how.  The pain and tears still haven't subsided after 5 months, and maybe never will.  [/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]The best you can hope for is to have support, understanding from others, and to rely on others previous experience to help you through.  That is where organisations like the Miscarriage Association come in.  [/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]Molly and I took great comfort from finding their website and the resources you can find there.  We were even able to pen an online message to our little one in their forget-me-not field: [lt]span class="s1"[gt]http://www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/support/marking-your-loss/forget-me-not-meadow/page-38/[lt]/span[gt][/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]When the opportunity arose to run for the Miscarriage Association, I jumped at it.  Miscarriages will always happen unfortunately.  Talking about it helps.  Knowing others with experience helps.  Being able to find the right information when you need it helps.  [/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]Please dig deep and sponsor me.  Molly and I would really appreciate it.  Don’t do it for us though, do it for our little Emily (aka little shrimp) and all the other lost children.  [/p] [lt]p class="p2"[gt][/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt]x[/p]
