Team story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page. [/p][p]I am the team leader, Noel Lightfoot. In 1999 I was diagnosed with cancer. Following an operation and 4 weeks of radiotherapy, I spent a year in recovery. During this time I was supported by [span=color: #339966;][b]Macmillan [/b][/span]nurses. In addition to this I have also lost my grandad and close friends to Cancer.[/p][p]As a result, I decided to organise this event to raise funds for [span=color: #339966;][b]Macmillan Cancer Support[/b][/span]. [/p][p]SYP have 2 teams taking part, with 10 crew in total including Noel Lightfoot, Mike Pearson, Colin Lightfoot, Andy Buddle, James Buddle, Trevor Bichard, Simon Verrall, Simon Crawford, Steve Cooke and Sharon Longden. [/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to [span=color: #339966;][b]Macmillan[/b][/span]. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
