Team story

[p]Thank you for visiting my page. I'm so proud that with the support of nearly 3000 colleagues at Sage I have raised over £100,000 so far. With your donation, we are moving ever closer to achieving our £150,000 target for Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project (CVYP).[/p][p]Already this year we have been active in our volunteering efforts, from assembling coding computers with Computer4Kids in Nevis to supporting Australian wildlife affected by the bushfires. Now it’s time to continue fundraising for the Sage $2 Million Challenge.[/p][p]On June 18th, 2020, I will be taking part in the Sage Foundation 3 Peaks Challenge as part of a relay team. I will be climbing the first of three peaks - Ben Nevis – the highest mountain in Scotland.[/p][p]Please donate what you can and follow the progress of Sage colleagues on twitter - @SageFoundation and @SteveHare.[/p][p]Thanks again,[/p][p]Steve[/p][p]About CVYP[/p][p]All funds raised will go to the CVYP which offers a range of opportunities to further the social and personal development of young people in the Newcastle / Northumberland area. It provides safe and friendly services that meet the changing needs and desires of young people with differing ages and abilities. The organization works with approximately 250 young people per week, with the capacity to work with 120 in the Cramlington centre at any one time.[/p][p]The key aims are to improve the lives of young people (ages 8 to 25) and their families and the community by enabling:[/p][p]· young people to make informed choices about how they behave,[/p][p]· reduce barriers to learning for all,[/p][p]· increase opportunities for young people to develop positive relationships in a safe environment, [/p][p]· enable young people with disabilities to gain independence,[/p][p]· reduce barriers to self-expression,[/p][p]· increase knowledge about sexual health[/p]
