My story

[p]My friend Fiona asked me today if Mick and I would like to be part of the Helping Uganda Schools (HUGS) fundraiser. The purpose is to raise the necessary funds to complete a school for children with sensory disabilities in Jinja, Uganda. Learn more about HUGS and the challenge here at www.helpingugandaschools.org[/p][p]The challenge is to be part of a team completing a virtual 6480 miles cycle ride from UK to Uganda. Mick and I both thought this was a fab event to be part of. Having worked in Tanzania, a part of our hearts will always be in East Africa; we both need to get fit and be active; and fortuitously our bikes arrived in our shipment from Thailand just this week; most importantly, the project is wonderful and education for all is at the core of our values. [/p][p]Mick has pledged to cycle 400 miles during September and I pledge the more modest 200 (though still a lot for me!) If you believe in education and are able to support our cycle ride please donate. THANK YOU.[/p][p]Sally Flint [/p][p]https://www.sallyflint.com/ [/p]
