My story

[p][span=color: #000000;]In April 2016 I will be participating in the notorious Marathon de Sables, a 250km run across the Moroccan Sahara that takes place over 6 days. Although I enjoy taking on a challenge, I have never attempted anything like this before. It will be the hardest thing I have ever done. It involves serious training in the lead up, and the event itself will require every ounce of willpower I possess. I am hugely excited about taking on this challenge, but I can't pretend it isn't a bit daunting too![/span][/p][p][span=color: #000000;] [/span][span=color: #000000;]So why am I putting myself through this gruelling event? The answer is simple. To raise money for an amazing charity - Walking with the Wounded. I have been completely inspired by the stories of servicemen and women who return from duty with very serious injuries, but who are determined to rebuild their lives. Walking with the Wounded's philosphy is about championing the lives of our service men and women, supporting them to face the future with courage. The charity supports people to face unimaginable physical and mental challenges and tackle them head on. Their work is so important, and that is the reason I have decided to take on the Marathon des Sables. It is crucial that we raise funds to enable Walking with the Wounded to continue their fantastic work.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000000;]This is the biggest challenge of my life, but I am determined to do my very best in order to raise money for this incredibly worthy charity. Please do donate what you can to help us reach our goal.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000000;]Thank you!![/span][/p][p][span=color: #000000;]Sam xxx[/span][/p][p] [/p][p] [/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
