My story

[vmgvideo class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0MLUNFTST9M?showinfo=0&rel=0&iv_load_policy=3"][/vmgvideo][p][br][/p][p]At the age of 42 I have decided to start running, I'm not a runner, I find it so difficult so what do I do, I entered the LONDON MARATHON. [/p][p]Why? You may ask and I will tell you. Its for my beautiful daughter Niamh. As many of you know we lost Niamh to a vile cancer called Neuroblastoma in May 2012 when she was 5, since then Chris(my husband) have started a charity to help fund research into this vile cancer. [/p][p]Every step of my 26.2 miles I will talk and think of her and I know I WILL complete this marathon, for her and for all the others fighting Neuroblastoma.[/p][p]So please donate and join me in getting that little bit closer to beating this disease.[/p][p]Our awareness video above will give you so much more information. [/p][p]Niamh’s Next Step are very proudly collaborating with Sparks to fund Professor Sala’s research project Mesenchymal stem cell delivery of therapeutic molecules as a novel gene therapy approach for neuroblastoma (15BRU01) which is currently taking place at Brunel University, London[/p][p]All money raised through this fundraising page will go directly towards funding this vital research project. [/p][p]Thank you so much for all your kind support.[/p][p][br][/p]
