My story

[p]Hello, [/p][p]Welcome to my fund raising page. [/p][p]I am running the London Marathon and raising funds for TACT [/p][p]I have chosen to run on behalf of TACT because they are a Fostering an Adoption charity. For those of you that know me you already know that my parents are foster carers and have looked after loved and supported many children from a variety different backgrounds. I wanted to run and raise money on behalf of TACT as I wanted to carry on their legacy in what small way I can and help to provide a safe and loving home for children from disadvantaged background. [/p][p][br][/p][p]What is TACT?[/p][p]TACT stands for The Adolescent And Children’s Trust and is the largest fostering and adoption charity and voluntary agency in the UK providing over 600 children and young people with loving homes.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Where will the the money raised go? [/p][p]*Enriching activities [/p][p]*Activity days / opportunity to interact with other children from similar backgrounds[/p][p]*Educational support [/p][p]*Therapeutic support [/p][p]*Art sessions [/p][p]*Theraplay[/p][p]*Skills and life workshops to support young people in their journey to independence[/p][p]This is something really close to my heart. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my page and donate! [/p][p][br][/p]
