My story

[p]My story[/p][p]On the 18th June Ed and I will be walking from Winchester Cathedral to Salisbury Cathedral and back, 52 miles in one day.[/p][p]Why now?[/p][p]Lockdown has brought on many challenges and changes for us all.........for me the outdoors and Nature has been a constant companion; walking in our beautiful countryside with clearing skies, peace and the changes from Spring to Summer. This has been noticeable in our fields, hedgerows and gardens with a huge variety of birdsong, blooming flowers and burgeoning vegetation.[/p][p]All the walking and cycling has made us think we could put our enjoyment into some charitable project. For me as a Trustee of The Cameron Bespolka Trust I have decided to walk in memory of Cameron who tragically died six years ago. He was a keen Naturalist and birder and The Trust has been set up by dear friends, Corinne, Kevin, Megan, Nicholas and Sienna Bespolka.[/p][p]Nature and the outdoors inspired Cameron and the Charity aims to create opportunities for young people to connect with the outdoors by promoting programmes that involve conservation, wildlife, habitat management, environment and climate change. The Trust's major project at the moment is to renovate Cameron's Cottage and Field Study Centre in the middle of the RSPB reserve in the New Forest. Work has commenced and the Cottage will accommodate up to 18 young people from all walks of life for residential stays, immersed in nature. [/p][p]For more information, please check out the website: www.cameronbespolka.com[/p][p]I hope in some small way through the work of The Cameron Bespolka Trust we can enable more young people to encounter Nature and the outdoors in close proximity.[/p][p]Thank you so much for your ongoing support, I am so grateful for past generosity . Heartfelt thanks for being part of this adventure as Ed and I prepare for the Challenge.SarahπŸŒΏπŸ¦‰πŸπŸŒˆπŸ¦…πŸ¦‡πŸ¦ŽπŸ¦”πŸ•Š[/p]
