My story
[p]I am running the London Marathon to raise money for IHP (International Health Partners). I came across IHP through work and instantly felt a connection with what they do -giving people access to essential medicines in disaster and hard to reach areas. It's so basic but absolutely critical. [/p][p]I look at my 2 young children and I wonder...if we lived in an area of conflict, how would I feel having to watch them suffer and potentially die from a disease that in the UK would be a couple of days off school with lots of daytime TV. I can't even begin to imagine the helplessness, frustration and pain. [/p][p]That's why I'm running for IHP and that is what is going to get me past the finish line.[/p]
